CFD Modeling - Airflow Design

Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) technology is an advanced tool for computer-aided airflow design. For both new and existing air distribution systems, CFD modeling can save clients’ time otherwise spent on conventional design and troubleshooting methods, as well as increase the level of aerodynamic flow details.

Services

In the initial stage of design, clients can see how their facilities will perform under a variety of simulated room layouts, airflow velocities, and air handling designs. The airflow design services include:

Clean-room Airflow Modeling
Spray Booth Airflow Modeling
External Airflow Modeling
Natural Ventilation Modeling

Expertise

Optimize design criteria for airflow uniformity in velocity, and temperature variation.
Optimize size and configuration of air distribution plenums.
Analyze airflow to minimize vortex shedding and contaminant particle migration.
Analyze heat transfer, air mixing and temperature control.
Determine wake around buildings, optimum stack heights and their strategic location.
